Episode 2 Story
Having secured the cooperation of Shinichi Akiyama, a former genius con artist, Nao resolves to reclaim the 200 million yen from Fujisawa, the man who deceived her. Akiyama proposes a two part strategy. First, Nao must clearly declare her intent to participate in the Liar Game to her opponent. Second, she must keep the enemy under constant surveillance.
After promptly declaring war on Fujisawa, Nao begins a stakeout, monitoring him from a vacant house near Fujisawa's residence that Akiyama has rented. Feeling the pressure of being watched, Fujisawa eventually stops going outside and shuts himself away. However, Nao, still unable to grasp the true intent of the plan, begins to panic about how this method will actually allow them to seize the 200 million yen. While Nao struggles with doubt and anxiety, Akiyama, having reached a specific conclusion based on his tactics so far, prepares to make a further move against Fujisawa.
