DAN DA DAN Expands Overseas With Booth at Major Colombia Pop Culture Event

DAN DA DAN made an appearance at the major Colombian pop culture event SOFA (Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía), held in Bogotá from October 8 to 12. MBS exhibited a booth for the anime for the first time at the event, marking the broadcaster's first event appearance in Colombia.

DAN DA DAN Continues Global Expansion With Turbo Granny Meets The World

The appearance was part of MBS's overseas initiative "Turbo Granny Meets The World," which brings DAN DA DAN to pop culture events around the world and introduces location-themed versions of Turbo Granny inspired by each country or city.

At SOFA, Turbo Granny and a Serpo Alien appeared at the booth, drawing crowds of visitors who lined up for photos. Fans also wore character masks distributed as promotional items throughout the venue.

SOFA is one of Colombia's largest pop culture events and attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually. The Bogotá appearance joined a wider series of overseas events for DAN DA DAN in 2026, including events in Dallas, Málaga, Singapore, New York and France, with further appearances planned in Costa Mesa and Lucca.

DAN DA DAN is based on Yukinobu Tatsu's manga, which has surpassed 14 million copies in circulation. Following Season 1 in 2024 and Season 2 in 2025, Season 3 of the TV anime is scheduled for 2027.
