Kagurabachi Anime World Tour Part 1 Revealed: First 20 Minutes of Episode 1 to Premiere at Four Major Anime Conventions Worldwide

The upcoming Kagurabachi anime has unveiled details for its first worldwide promotional tour, with the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 scheduled to receive world premiere screenings at four major anime conventions across North America and Europe.

Based on Takeru Hokazono's hit manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, Kagurabachi has surpassed 4 million copies in circulation as of May 2026. The anime adaptation is scheduled to begin broadcasting in April 2027.

The anime is being produced by Cypic, the CyberAgent Group animation studio known for Umamusume: Cinderella Gray and The Summer Hikaru Died. The project is directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi, with character designs by Keigo Sasaki. Chihiro Rokuhira, the series protagonist, is voiced by Taihi Kimura, winner of the Best New Actor award at the 2025 Seiyu Awards.


Four Major Anime Conventions Selected for World Premiere Screenings

As part of the "Kagurabachi" Anime World Tour Part 1, fans will have an opportunity to watch the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 months before the television premiere. Screenings will be held at the following events:

The event will also feature an exclusive screening of the opening 20 minutes of Episode 1.


Story Overview

Kagurabachi follows Chihiro Rokuhira, the son of renowned swordsmith Kunishige Rokuhira. After a devastating attack by the mysterious sorcerer organization known as the Hishaku, Chihiro loses both his peaceful life and the six powerful Enchanted Blades forged by his father.

Armed with Enten, the seventh Enchanted Blade left behind by Kunishige, Chihiro embarks on a relentless path of revenge in a dark world shaped by sorcery and bloodshed.

The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide in April 2027.
