Dandivine TV Anime Premieres October 2026 : Original Combining Robot Series by LIDENFILMS and Kayac Animation, Opening Theme by Takanori Nishikawa

A brand new combining robot anime, Jyu-Oh Mujin Dandivine (獣王武神ダンデヴァイン), will begin airing in October as the first project in The God of Combined Series, a new franchise launched to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Good Smile Company.

Animation production is being handled by LIDENFILMS and Kayac Animation, while Yi Cao serves as director.

The project is spearheaded by Good Smile Company's mecha focused label Mecha Smile, with the goal of bringing the excitement of combining robots to fans around the world through modern visual storytelling. The God of Combined Series plans to introduce a new combining robot anime every year, each featuring a different motif, aiming to establish a new standard for robot anime in the Reiwa era.

Story Set 20 Years After Dandivine Saved the World

The story takes place 20 years after the combining robot Dandivine defeated the mysterious enemy known as the Aposdoll. Although the world has enjoyed two decades of peace, toy manufacturer Casga, which became a major success thanks to Dandivine merchandise, has fallen into financial decline after becoming overly dependent on the franchise.

At the center of the story is Genjuro Shijima, president of Casga, whose desperate wish for Dandivine's return seems to reach the heavens when the Aposdoll suddenly reappear in Tokyo.

With society having grown accustomed to peace, panic spreads across the city. Amid the chaos, high school student Gekiha Shijima is invited by his uncle and former main pilot, Yusaku Kuroiwa, to board Dandivine. As new battles begin, questions emerge about the true objective of the Aposdoll and whether Casga can reclaim its dominance in the toy industry.
