The Prince of Tennis Anime Opens 25th Anniversary Year With New Key Visual and Logo
The Prince of Tennis anime series will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its television debut this October. To mark the occasion, a commemorative key visual and logo have been unveiled.

New 25th Anniversary Key Visual Revealed
The key visual features Ryoma Echizen, Kunimitsu Tezuka, and many other characters gathered in a team huddle. At the center of the image are the words “25th ANNIVERSARY THE PRINCE OF TENNIS THE ANIMATION.”
A variety of projects will be held throughout the 25th anniversary year, which will continue until the end of December 2027.
Special YouTube Program to Stream in July
The first project will be a special program titled “The Prince of Tennis Anime Series 25th Anniversary SP.” It will stream on July 19 at 10:00 p.m. JST via the official New Prince of Tennis Anime YouTube channel.
The program will feature Junko Minagawa as Ryoma Echizen, Ryotaro Okiayu as Kunimitsu Tezuka, Yuki Kaida as Shusuke Fuji, Junichi Suwabe as Keigo Atobe, Sachiko Nagai as Seiichi Yukimura, Tarusuke Shingaki as Eishiro Kite, and others. Narukawa Kawamoto, who plays Takashi Kawamura, and Masaya Onosaka, who plays Takeshi Momoshiro, will serve as MCs.
From the Kanto Tournament to the World Stage
The Prince of Tennis began airing on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in October 2001. In 2012, The New Prince of Tennis, based on the manga currently serialized in Jump SQ. by Shueisha, was adapted into a television anime.
The story has expanded from the Kanto Tournament to the National Tournament and then to the world stage. In 2024, The New Prince of Tennis U 17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL aired, depicting fierce matches between Japan and Germany. This fall, The New Prince of Tennis U 17 WORLD CUP Final Member Selection Match is scheduled to air.
