Tempal: Overgeared Anime Premieres in October 2026, Teaser PV Revealed; Tatsumaru Tachibana and Asami Seto Join Cast

Tempal: Overgeared is set to receive a TV anime adaptation in October 2026. Staff details, cast information, a teaser visual, and the first teaser PV have all been unveiled.

Tempal: Overgeared Heads to TV Anime

Set in the world's greatest virtual reality game, Tempal: Overgeared takes place in a massive fantasy world often described as a second Earth, boasting more than 2 billion players worldwide. The story follows Grid, a struggling player whose life changes after he acquires the legendary item known as Pagma's Rare Book. After changing his class to a legendary blacksmith, he begins a journey from a debt ridden existence to the very top of the game's two billion players.

The anime is being produced by J.C.STAFF. Direction is handled by Ayako Kono, known for Sword Art Online the Movie Progressive, while Kenta Ihara serves as series composer and Ryosuke Tanigawa is responsible for character design.

The main cast has also been announced. Tatsumaru Tachibana will voice Grid, while Asami Seto will play Yura.

The newly released teaser PV features scenes that hint at Grid's rise from the "weakest" to the "strongest," showcasing the vast scale of the series' fantasy world.

Meanwhile, the teaser visual highlights Grid's identity as a blacksmith, presenting a striking image that symbolizes his growth and ambitions.
