New 10th Anniversary Visual Captures the Grand Prix Final
The 10th anniversary visual features six skaters who competed in the Grand Prix Final in the anime: protagonist Yuri Katsuki, Yuri Plisetsky, Otabek Altin, Christophe Giacometti, Jean Jacques Leroy, and Phichit Chulanont. Victor Nikiforov, Yuri Katsuki’s coach and a five time world champion, is also depicted.
The visual is set during the free skating segment of the Grand Prix Final. It captures a decisive moment when each skater’s emotions fill their body and emerge through their expression and movement, from looking inward, to burning with rivalry, to conveying love. Filled with the lives of the skaters, the visual expresses the appeal of figure skating that Yuri!!! on ICE brought to audiences. It is a single image that vividly conveys the brilliance of the ice.
