The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime The Barbarian's Bride (JP: 姫騎士は蛮族バルバロイの嫁) have been revealed. This episode will air on Thursday, April 16 at 9:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 2 Story

When Serafina awakens, she finds Veor lying next to her, completely naked and snoring loudly. Although she is initially enraged by the situation, her hunger gets the better of her, and she finishes her entire breakfast. As she observes the customs of the barbarians and the richness of the surrounding nature, she begins to realize that she held significant prejudices.

Introduction

For centuries, the Kingdom of Ildren in the West has sought to conquer the "Barbarians" of the East. Serafina de Lavillant, the "Princess Knight" renowned as the strongest in the kingdom, is defeated during a particularly fierce Eastern campaign and taken prisoner.

"Guh... Kill me!"

Expected to endure days of humiliation following her defeat, the female knight finds a completely different fate awaiting her instead: marriage to Veol, the King of the Barbarians! Despite his passionate proposals, Serafina rejects him with a steely will.

However, as she experiences their foreign culture, meets new people, and discovers the true face of Veol beneath his fierce reputation, Serafina's heart begins to change...!
