Voice Actor Yuki Kaji Launches New Company “FRACTAL” to Expand Voice AI and Talent Management Business

Voice actor Yuki Kaji announced that he has founded a new company, FRACTAL, as of April 9. Serving as Representative Director, President, and CEO, Kaji aims to explore new creative frontiers through two core pillars: a voice AI business and a voice actor management business.

The company’s voice AI initiatives are built around “Soyogi Fractal,” a project launched to commemorate Kaji’s 20th anniversary in the industry. Alongside this, FRACTAL will also develop talent management operations, opening new possibilities for expression.

Kaji explained that the company’s symbol is inspired by the Ulysses butterfly, known as a symbol of good fortune and featured in the Soyogi Fractal project. He stated that just as a butterfly reads the wind with its antennae to determine its path, the company aims to remain sensitive to changes in the times and continue moving forward with new ideas.

He added that FRACTAL is envisioned as a place that feels like home for anyone, where creative works born from it can spread their wings and reach audiences around the world. This vision is reflected in both the company name and its logo.

A Career Spanning Major Anime Works and New Challenges

Kaji made his voice acting debut in 2004 and has since voiced numerous iconic characters, including Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia, Kenma Kozume in Haikyu, Mao in MAO, and Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins. He has also worked extensively in narration, including appearances on Japanese television programs, and has provided voices for corporate characters and sound logos.

In 2013, he became the first voice actor to win the Best Actor Award at the Seiyu Awards for two consecutive years. He later published a book titled Itsuka Subete ga Kimi no Chikara ni Naru, which became a hit with over 70,000 copies sold. His activities have expanded beyond voice acting to include live action performances, stage productions, and various creative projects.

Kaji’s voice is also said to possess the qualities of “1 over f fluctuation,” a sound pattern believed to have a soothing effect on the human brain and mind.

Expanding Into AI and Live Entertainment

In 2024, marking his 20th anniversary, Kaji launched the Soyogi Fractal project, aiming for collaboration between voice AI and humans. In March 2026, he successfully held a 3D entertainment live event titled Bon Soyogi 1st EXPO “0rigin” at Tokyo Garden Theater.

With the establishment of FRACTAL in April 2026, Kaji takes a further step toward exploring the possibilities of creative expression through collaboration with AI.

Full Comment from Yuki Kaji

“I am pleased to announce that I have founded a new company, FRACTAL, to transform imagination into reality.

Our company symbol is derived from the design of the Ulysses butterfly, the symbol of our voice AI project Soyogi Fractal.

Just as a butterfly reads the wind with its antennae and decides its path, we aim to stay sensitive to changes in the times and continue moving forward with new ideas.

We hope that FRACTAL will become a place that feels like home for everyone, where the works created here can spread their wings and reach the world with great appeal.

This vision is embodied in our company name and logo.

As both a voice actor and CEO, I will continue to pursue forms of creativity that only I can create, striving to deliver expressions that resonate with your hearts.

Although I am still inexperienced, I sincerely ask for your continued guidance and support.

We would greatly appreciate your warm support as we take on the challenge of developing our voice AI business centered on Soyogi Fractal, as well as my new endeavors as a voice actor.”
