Synopsis
One Punch Man Season 1 follows Saitama, an ordinary man who trains so intensely that he gains the ability to defeat any enemy with a single punch. Bored by his overwhelming power and lack of recognition, he lives as a hero “for fun” until he encounters the cyborg Genos, who becomes his disciple after witnessing Saitama’s strength. Together, they confront the sinister House of Evolution and cross paths with foes like the terrorist group Paradisers and the relentless ninja Speed-O’-Sound Sonic. Seeking legitimacy, Saitama joins the Hero Association, where his true power goes unnoticed, earning him only a C-Class rank while Genos enters as S-Class.
As Saitama adjusts to life as a professional hero, Earth faces escalating threats a catastrophic meteor, the terrifying Deep Sea King, and finally the invasion of the alien Dark Matter Thieves. While other heroes struggle and suffer heavy losses, Saitama repeatedly steps in to end crises with ease, often without credit. The season culminates in his battle against Boros, a galactic conqueror strong enough to withstand his punches, offering Saitama a rare glimpse of the challenge he longs for. Despite his victory, Saitama remains trapped between public doubt, the envy of fellow heroes, and his own unshakable boredom with limitless strength.

Synopsis
Season 2 shifts the spotlight from Saitama’s effortless strength to the rising chaos brought on by the Monster Association and the emergence of Garou, the Hero Hunter. While Saitama continues his daily life, even disguising himself to enter the Super Fight martial arts tournament, Garou wages a one-man war against the Hero Association, defeating powerful heroes and terrifying the organization. Silver Fang and his brother Bomb attempt to stop their former disciple, but Garou’s adaptability and ferocity make him a growing threat. Meanwhile, the Hero Association faces mounting pressure as simultaneous monster attacks devastate multiple cities, culminating in the kidnapping of adviser Narinki’s son, Waganma.
The season intertwines Saitama’s comedic detours with darker, more intense battles across the hero world. The Super Fight tournament highlights the strength of Suiryu and ends with the arrival of the monstrous Gouketsu, while across the cities, S-Class heroes like Terrible Tornado and Genos struggle to contain the monster outbreaks. The Monster Association begins to move openly, with leaders Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro plotting humanity’s downfall. The season closes with a desperate battle involving Silver Fang, Bomb, Genos, and Saitama against the colossal Elder Centipede, signaling the beginning of an all-out war between heroes and monsters while Garou’s evolution as an anti-hero continues to unfold.
